一群的米國番

 

 

看了台灣的升旗典禮所產生的各樣新聞話題的報導

我也來插一喀

一月一日對很多人來說是宿醉及補眠的時後

對我們來說可是要找ㄧ些是來打發時間　（ㄟ！不想打掃家裡!)

透過會長的消息 (我很懶得看報紙)

知道有 "升旗典禮" 這回事

蠻新奇的, 沒參加過

且好久沒有唱過台灣的國歌了

一早（十點啦！　不用一大早的）

我們便出發去理查遜市的華人活動中心

還以為不會很多人的

天丫! 還真有點兒人山人海的

但卻沒有一個我認識的 (好慘)

正在納悶要不要走進去時

看到會長 (嘿嘿!有點兒興奮，至少有一個我認識的）

喝個茶

就到外頭準備升旗了!

(還每人發了一小小面的中華民國國旗, 小菲利浦們拿著一直玩)

嘿嘿! 跟台灣不同的是

我們升的是兩面國旗 (哥哥問我為何沒有德州的州旗..... ㄟ!算了吧，小子)

唱了美國的國歌, 升了美國的國旗 (美國的國歌真不好唱)

然後就是升台灣的國旗了

唱了國歌, (ㄧ直納悶著怎麼還不升上去)

唱完了! 國旗還在

這時住持人說: 唱國旗歌

(羞! 我還記憶回了過來 要唱國旗歌才升中華名國的國旗)

真的是離開高中的日子太久了!!

大家都好戰戰兢兢的立正唱國歌及國旗歌

大概是美國國歌太難唱了, 很少的聲音附和

ㄧ唱到咱們台灣的國歌!

哇! 超大聲的! (是有點兒給他感動說)

只不過我家的少爺們平常不是升國旗的

而是 Pledge allegiance對美國的國旗付上最高的敬意

真的是大大的不同丫!

所以這兩個少爺從頭到尾忙著把萬他們手上的小國旗! (孺子不可教也)

 

很高興今天能夠帶家裡的小鬼們見見不同的事!

就降! 不過我們沒有大赤膊參加! (大衣伺候的!)

Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag is an oath of loyalty to the country. It is recited at many public events. US Congressional sessions open with the recitation of the Pledge.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag reads as follows:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all."

It should be recited by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform, men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. People in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute.^[1]

Pledge of allegiance to the state flag

"Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."

According to The Handbook of Texas Online, "In 1933 the legislature passed a law establishing rules for the proper display of the flag and providing for a pledge to the flag: "Honor the Texas Flag of 1836; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one and indivisible." The pledge erroneously referred to the 1836 national flag, known as David G. Burnet's flag, instead of the Lone Star Flag. Senator Searcy Bracewell introduced a bill to correct this error in 1951, but the legislature did not delete the words "of 1836" until 1965."

The pledge was again amended by House Bill 1034 during the 80th Legislature with the addition of "one state under God." The revised wording became effective on June 15, 2007.
