Addison是一個消費小城市, 大多北達拉斯旅館, 飯店, 酒吧, 啤酒屋, 及知名的餐廳大大小小的都聚集於這一個小小的城市. 當然囉, 也是有很多的辦公大樓住於此地!

去逛藝術節的慶祝活動, 免不了肚子 會餓, 沒關係, 有很多的不同的吃的攤位, 食物真的不錯吃耶! 

一年一度的Main Street Fort Worth Art Festival又來了! 我們當然也不會錯過的. Fort Worth真是一個較有人文氣息的城市, 不像達拉斯, 松滿銅錢味!

因為當年的強生總統夫人的堅持，每一年的春天，　美國個高速公路兩旁都盛開著野花。　

每一年的春天也因為要好好的贊看這一些野花也是常常絞盡腦汁的找藉口開車到處晃！

周六與校友會出遊至Plastine去搭德州的古董火車

雖然我大概算是最年輕的(大家都是大我一二十歲以上) 我們全家仍是很愉快的能與校友會的各位前輩一起度過周六!

At Lawton, kids were fishing around redneck yacht club. These are their first catch.

旅程中, 小菲利浦們到到了他們的第一條魚! 當然我們把魚放生了. 在美國, 至少是在德州, 一定要購買釣魚許可. 若被抓到釣魚沒有許可證, 事會被罰錢的!

Redneck Yacht Club:

通常遊憩用的船是有錢人才有的享受品之一. 窮人及中產階級是付不起的. 但是美國的鄉下人喜歡釣魚或到湖邊去度假的人, 雖不是有錢人的高貴遊輪, 但卻是足夠了!　前一陣子，　便有一首歌叫做Redneck Yacht Club, 成為鄉下人的最愛!　雖然不能當有錢人，　但也是可以享受一切的水上生活！

德州北部在82號公路上有一個德國小鎮. 真的是很可愛的小鎮, 有時到此想用德式的食品, 真是有如到德國一樣!

這步之是第幾次拜訪Medecine Park 了! 這一次的拜訪剛好碰設了當地的消防隊的演練. 由於當地有一棟房屋之前都是毒梟聚集之處, 已兩三年沒有人居住於此, 蟑螂及及他的爬蟲動物橫行, 市政府及消防隊決定一把火把它燒了

So we were visiting one of our favorite places in OK, a biker paradise, and as we were walking along the river flowing form Lake Latonka we saw what looked like a deisel fire atop the hill.  We all rushed up to find a fire department trianing exercise underway.  The black smoke came from the roof tiles, the tires and maybe even the refridgerator within the house which we learned was a possible druggie home and coackroach den for some time.  The beauty of the contolled fire as we learned from the town sculpurer, Mr. Dean, was that it did not singe the fir tree within 20 feet of the structure.  We did meet Mr. Nix, the town bull dozer driver who seemed like a nice guy but ended up the town 'asshole'.  The visit was a beautiful time and an event they 'put on' for all groups of interesting looking tourists!  Thank goodness we are interesting and I told him that he may, as a result of this blog, be asked for a tour of the 'Plantation Restaurant' area seeking a tour of the cougar, buffalo and the southern most totem pole in front of his home.  Anyway, we all had a good time once again and enjoyed every minute of our tour.       

可憐的Eddie, 由於之前玩水 鞋子濕了, 只穿著襪子, 結果草地上有很多洽渣某的刺刺到了, 只穿著襪子, 結果早地上有很多洽渣某的刺刺到了, 想要和姐姐與哥哥跑去遊樂場玩, 跑到一半, 又被刺到了, 很委屈的眼淚也一滴滴的掉了下來!

還好爸爸幫他, 用車載他一程, 媽媽幫他把刺拔起來, 這才解決了一次危機.(這一次是不用貼繃帶的喔)

一路上, 小朋友也一直找到漂亮的野花, 要我把它照下來! 春天真的到了, 野花也都冒出來了!

This is Mount Scott. We are goint there tomorrow to spy some Bafallo.

這一座山叫史考特山, 大概是奧克拉荷馬州西南邊最高的ㄧ座山, 也是我們明天要去的目的地之一!

This is one of the Phillips Kids' favorite place, the playground by Lake Elmer Thomas located at the back gate in Fort Sill, Okalah0ma. There is camp side avilable. We decided not to camp today, going to Super 8 hotel instead. The recreation center is still close for the season. It is only open for the summer. I believe we will be here in the summer when the beach is open with lots of other activities.

這是我們家小最喜歡的ㄧ個地方之一, 在陸軍營後面靠近49號公路的ㄧ個露營營區. 小朋友們喜歡這一個遊樂設施, 今天都沒有別的小朋友, 只有他們三個. 由於目前整個遊樂場事關閉的, 湖邊的隔樣遊樂設及活動都是關閉的, 大概就等天氣暖一點時, 再來拜訪囉! 但是露營的話, 就自個兒來吧! (免費的)

這一個塔建於第一次世界大戰時, 建於Fort Sill, Okalahoma. Fort Sill 是一個很大的陸軍軍營, 建於十九世紀. 菲利浦先生曾駐軍於此, 所以帶我們來這兒瞧瞧!

Lawton有很多的土撥鼠. 菲利浦先生告訴小菲利浦們要每人抓十隻土撥鼠才能去旅館休息. 在我們剛到時, 土撥鼠們很悠閒的在草地上.

This Spring break, one of the Phillips kids' wishes is a road trip to Okalahoma. We drove around Lawton and saw this house with two Lazy-Boy-like chairs at the front porch.  This look pretty red neck to us. What do you think?
